Of course, the environment is as important to us as it is to you. For this reason, we have chosen Lenovo as a partner who is aware of its social and societal responsibility.
At Lenovo, the sustainability concept already starts in the production of the devices. From 2025, recycled plastic will be used in almost all PC products. Furthermore, Lenovo uses low-temperature solder in production, which corresponds to a CO2 saving of approximately 2.5 million liters of gasoline – per year in ThinkPad and laptop production alone. The devices are transported in packaging made from renewable raw materials, which are smaller and lighter than commercially available packaging. As a result, CO2 emissions during transport have been reduced by 6.7%.
